What is LMA Doing to Promote Social-Emotional Learning?

La Mirada Academy utilizes the Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) classroom curriculum of Second Step to support students' healthy social-emotional development. Second Step has four main units that are taught in all TK-8 classrooms: skills for learning, empathy, emotional regulation, and problem solving.
