What is LMA Doing to Promote Social-Emotional Learning?

The School Counseling Department at La Mirada Academy utilizes the Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) classroom curriculum of Second Step to support students' healthy social-emotional development. Second Step has four main units that we teach in all PYP classrooms: skills for learning, empathy, emotional regulation, and problem solving. The School Counseling Department is looking to expand these lessons and resources to our MYP students. To learn more about Second Step please click on the following link:
